I’m attaching information about the First Crusade and the People’s Crusade. This will help you produce your Crusades booklet. Information about the Second Crusade will be added next week. If you have any questions, please add a comment below (and remember what I said about your names)!
on your leaflet can you do it like a fact file e.g
leader:? …………………………..
journey:?……………………………………………………………………….

Emily, you can add that if you want to. Remember, it is for Year 6 so if you can make it very clear, that would be helpful.

and have we got to write about it in our booklets?

you have put the peoples crusade twice but you have called one the peoples crusade and one crusades antioch or is it just my computer?
One is the peoples crusade and the other is the First Crusade! Hope this helps.

They are two different things, although they both came about because of Urban’s speech. You can include them as one thing in your booklet or separate them.
Don’t we need to write about the second crusade? Or the peoples crusade? Or both?!
What’s the third part of the leaflet about? Is it about the second crusade or the people’s crusade?
You need to write about both – you need to include the people’s crusade, the first crusade and the second crusade!

Rhianna, Saladin is leading the Muslim forces and Richard is in charge of the crusaders. Hope this helps!
in class you said that we didn’t need to include the peoples crusade if we thought that it would confuse year 6 or we didnt think it was important??
You can leave it out, but if you put it in, that would be great!
